I had a positive impression of Swami Devi Dyal Dental College around 2015–2016. When I visited again in 2024, the campus appeared quiet and I was disappointed with the patient activity I saw.

I have since heard reports of improvement, but have not verified them through another visit. My most recent personal campus observations described here are from 2024.

The Institution has an advanced multi-specialty hospital with a capacity of 100 beds which offers free medical treatment and service both indoor and outdoor to its adjoining rural areas. The hospital has all the modern types of equipment and amenities. The hospital is also attached to the dental college contributing to teaching dental practices to the students. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and provides a high-speed internet facility. A set of six generators also supply 24-hour uninterrupted electricity to the whole campus. Hot water is available all the time during the winter season. The Institution also has RO plants to give pure drinking water to the hostels and the college. Various sports facilities such as a cricket ground, basketball, volleyball, football, and badminton court are also provided. A sports meet is held every year for the students of the college. Hostel facilities are separate for boys and girls and they are guarded by security guards all the time. Air-conditioned hostels are also available for interested students. The college also provides transportation facilities by comfortable buses for the day scholars. The Institution has a central library which is fully air-conditioned with over 40,000 books. E-libraries have many National and International Journals and research articles. All the institutions have one computer center with over 500 PCs of the latest configuration.
