I have personally visited Subharti Dental College and have spent time in the Delhi NCR region.

Clinical exposure stood out positively to me. Students I guided shared favourable feedback about the academics. Their feedback is useful context, but applicants should assess their intended department and the current counselling position.

  Subharti Dental College was established under Subharti KK B Charitable Trust in 1996. Subharti is the brainchild of Dr. Atul Krishna, a surgeon, and Dr. Mukti Bhatnagar, a physician. The Subharti KK B Charitable Trust was built to give a pragmatic structure to the team’s dreams. Subharti Dental College was its first educational project.  The different courses offered by the college are : 

1. Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS).
2. Masters of Dental Surgery (MDS).
3. Diploma in Dental Medicine (DDM).
4. PhD in Dental Sciences.

Subharti Dental College aims to inculcate mainly 3 values, namely Shiksha (education), Sewa (service), and Sanskar (values). It is affiliated with Swami Vivekanand University and is recognized by The Dental Council of India (DCI) and the University Grants Commission (UGC).  The college has well-experienced faculty members and excellent patient OPD along with the best of infrastructure and modern pieces of equipment. It also has well-maintained and properly functioning dental clinics for students to learn and work without any hassle.  The college aspires to bring out the best in students and to give rise to confident, independent, and responsible oral healthcare professionals so that our society becomes free of oral health diseases.

  The BDS course is 4 years of academics plus 1 year of internship. The MDS course is 3 years, and it is available in the following departments:

• Oral Maxillofacial Pathology and Microbiology.

The Diploma in Dental Medicine is a course of 2 years. Admission to this course is direct or through an interview. The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) is a course of 3 years. Admission to this course is through the University Common Entrance Examination (SNET) or a direct interview.

The cafeterias are located within the campus and remain open 7 days a week. The library has a total of 6476 books and both National and International journals. Other facilities in the library include :

The library timings are 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. on working days and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on holidays.  There are a total of 4 lecture halls with one on each floor. The lecture halls are air-conditioned and have a seating capacity of 200 students. Each lecture hall has its own LCD projectors, Slide projectors, and Multimedia Systems. There are 2 auditoriums for various cultural and inter-college events. The dental college has a dental museum where skull specimens, specimens of teeth, and various educational models are stored. These play a key role in educating the students and also give a better understanding of the subjects.
