I visited Annoor while meeting people connected with BDS students there. If I remember correctly, this was around 2012–2013.

I have not guided a student into the college. My visit was a long time ago, so it should not be read as a recent assessment of its facilities.

Annoor Dental College is a prestigious private dental college in the state of Kerala. It is affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS). The college is recognized by the Dental Council of India (DCI). Annoor Dental College has been accredited by The National Assessment and Accreditation Council by grade ‘B++”. The college aims to nurture and encourage individuals to be excellent in the field of dentistry.  Annoor Dental College offers the following courses in the field of dentistry:

The college offers a BDS course of 5 years i.e. 4 years of BDS plus 1 year of compulsory internship. The candidates seeking admission to the BDS course are required to qualify for the NEET-UG Entrance Examination. They must have also cleared the 10+2 board examination. The MDS program is 3 years. The candidates seeking admission to MDS are required to qualify for the NEET-MDS Entrance Examination. The candidates also have to complete their BDS from a recognized dental college and must also be registered dental practitioners in any State Dental Council. MDS is available in the following departments – 
  • Oral Medicine and Radiology.
  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
  • Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology and Microbiology.
  • Pedodontics and Preventive Dentistry.
  • Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics.

The college has a full-fledged and well-built library. The library content is updated annually with the latest developments in the field of dentistry in the form of research articles, journals, textbooks, reference books, etc. All the different departments have their own specific set of books available in the library from which the students have access to all kinds of information. There is also a section called a digital library which provides college students with various e-journals, and e-books.  The college provides hostel facilities for students. There is a separate hostel for boys and one for girls. Each room is well-maintained with all the basic furnishing and requirements which makes the stay of the students suitable and convenient. A respective warden monitors each hostel to maintain its internal affairs.  There is a canteen situated within the college campus that offers hygienic and fresh food at affordable prices.  The college auditorium and lecture theatres are fully air-conditioned and are also equipped with the latest audio and video aids. They are used for various academic events, conferences, seminars, lectures, and also for cultural programs. The college also provides many sports facilities for the students to enjoy extracurricular activities. There is a cricket ground, volleyball field, basketball court, and a few indoor games for the students to enjoy and free their minds. The college laboratories are equipped with modern equipment and also with simulation technology which allows the students to refine their practical skills.
